Vitamin E is an effective anti-oxidant and is added to raw material to protect natural oils from rancidity . In cosmetic products it both protects the product (lipids) and the skin and hair against oxidation.
Application dosage: 0.1-0.5% to prolong the shelf-life of the ingredients, 0.5-3.0% for its skin and hair care benefits.
