Natural blend of gums, Ecocert certified and non-radiated
INCI Name: Acacia Senegal Gum (and) Xanthan Gum (from corn sugar, suitable for vegan formulations)
Solagum AX is a proprietary blend (Seppic) of acacia and xanthan gum, two of the most effective natural poly-sugars in cosmetics.
Xanthan gum is an excellent emulsion stabiliser and thickening agent creating high viscosity and gel like (but no real gel structure) solutions. Acacia gum is not as effective as xanthan in increasing the viscosity but it improves the texture of product and imparts a silky consistency as well as skin feel to emulsions, creams and surfactant containing products such as shampoos or shower gels.
This blend is a unique mixture to fulfil almost all formulator's requirements in the cosmetic lab. You can however easily blend Solagum AX with other natural gums for a modified texture or desired viscosity.
Quite easy to work with, Solagum AX disperses easily in cold as well as hot water.
Dosage:
Emulsions and creams 0,1-0,5%
Shampoo,shower gel, hair gel etc: 1,5-2,5%
