This is a lipophilic extract (Halal and Kosher certified) containing the fatty oil with a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids including 35 - 45 % linoleic acid (C18:2,omega-6), 18 - 26 % gamma-linolenic acid (C18:3, omega-6), oleic acid (C18:1, omega-9), palmitic acid, tocopherols. The extract is stabilized against oxidation by addition of 0,1% organic rosemary extract.
Borage oil is praised for its anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties making it an ideal ingredient for all skin, hair and nail care formulations. The superiority of CO2 extract over the pressed oil is its higher shelf-life.
Application dosage: 1-5,0%
Store between 5-15 degrees Centigrade.
