This is a carotenoid containing extract with the lovely orange-yellow carotenoid colour. The extract contains 1,4% essential oils, 0,86% carotenoids and 21% anti-inflammatory faradiol esters
Application dosage 0,1-0,3% in all leave-on and rinse-off hair, skin and lip care products.
CO2 extracts are lipophilic and miscible with all oils and ester oils.
Since this is a pure extract and is not being diluted in a carrier oil, it is a very high viscosity paste. It is easily dispersible/soluble in carrier oils and would become fluid @40 degrees celsius. For ease of handling, we recommend pre-dispersing it in one of your carrier oils before adding it directly to the formulation. You can heat the extract for a short time (1-2 minutes is enough) in a water bath at 40-45 degrees celsius.
