This is a CO2 extract of sage leaves. Sage is known for its anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. The extract is an active material in natural deodorants to avoid oxidation of perspiration (and the resulting smell).
Application dosage:0.02-0,2% as antioxidant and 0,1-0,3% in bioactive products such as deodorants.
This lipophilic extract is applicable in all deodorant formulations from balms to sticks to lotions. The extract is oil soluble and for application in hydrophilic formulations such as hydroalcoholic or hydroglyceric sprays and gels it should be pre-dispersed in a solubilizer.
Phenolic diterpenes content: ca 36%
