Berry Wax

This is a plant based wax, COSMOS approved, Kosher and Halal certified
and suitable for all natural and vegan cosmetic applications.
Berry wax is derived from the peels of the rhus verniciflua berry. The
tree is called laquer tree as well because of the exudates which are
used for the production of Japan Laquer.
The wax has a decent pale colour and scent and does not affect the colour and scent of the product.

Acid value 5-30
Berry wax is applicable in all cosmetic material from cleansing balms
and butters to hair styling product, decorative cosmetics and emulsions.
It impart emulsion stabilizing properties as well as a "whipped cream"
and powdery texture to emulsions.
In decorative cosmetics, it is specially used in stick formulations such
as kajals and lipsticks. Despite its low melting point, it imparts
stability and anti-break properties.
