Glyceryl dibehenate is a fatty ester (palm free) with applications in food, pharmaceuticals, oral care and cosmetics.
In cosmetics it is used to increase the viscosity of the oils and create a gel-ointment like texture.It improves the thermal stability
of balms and butters.
Application dosage: 5-25% in balms, ointments and oil serums
1,0-5,0% in emulsions
The higher the dosage, the firmer the texture
Application: Heat together with butters and heat stable oils @850-85 C. When completely melted to a transparent liquid remove from heat source and stir to cool down then add other heat sensitive ingredients and continue stirring to complete cool down.
