Lactic acid is applied to adjust the pH of cosmetic products such as shampoo and shower gel or creams and lotions. As it is evident from the name, it reduces the pH of a product. In addition to pH-regulation is has excellent moisturizing effects. It is an AHA.
It is sufficient to add a few drops to 100 ml shampoo to adjust the pH. Even as a moisturizing additive it should not be applied more than 0,5%. An exception is the application in chemical peels.
Attention: We deliver lactic acid in screw cap bottles. For an easier application you can use a dropper or applicator bottle
